The RWHC - close to Oxford Circus, London - is at the heart of medical excellence in the UK. It provides advice and treatment in the fields of obstetrics, gynaecology, reproductive medicine, and breast care, as well as in matters of general well-being relating to women.
The RWHC is run by Dr Dickinson B Cowan - an obstetrician, gynaecologist, and specialist in reproductive medicine by training. Dr Cowan advises and treats the majority of the women attending the RWHC. Patients needing treatment outside his specialist areas are referred to the appropriate practitioners in London. He encourages women to participate in their own healthcare decision making, and to make choices for themselves.
